A little about the area.

The quaint little town of Ellicottville in Western New York is a four season resort town with numerous shops, hotels, restaurants and pubs. 'EVL' as it is locally called even has it's own micro brewery. On weekends the town is alive with various events such as Octoberfest, Rock and Roll 50's Old Car Shows, Art and Music Festivals. There is always something to do, see, eat and drink and of course fish.
Fly fishing for Steelhead takes place in the Zoar Valley which is just a few minutess away. The Zoar Valley is a magnificent natural wonder carved out of shale and limestone rock by the Cattaraugus Creek. The Zoar even has white water rafting to give you an idea of the power and size of this river. In the surrounding hills are the famous Griffis Sculpture Park giant monoliths, two ski resorts and numerous antique markets.
